I have had upper and lower dentures for 10 years and recently had new ones made.
They fit well but I would like to add some stability to the lower. Money is the concern and I am wondering if I can get by with 2 mini's. ...Visitor from WA
We don't know of any dentists who would use only two mini implants for stabilizing a lower denture. Mini implant manufacturers recommend a minimum of four, due to the small diameter and design.
Traditional, wider diameter implants can be used however and, for many denture patients, can achieve good stabilization and anchoring with just two implants.
Zest Locators are the popular attachment device for making a "snap in" effect that permits easy removal.
