Dental Implants Ask The Dentist Ira Koeppel Question:
Implantology for Senior Citizen: Is it possible to do teeth implantation in somone 81 or 82 years old?

My heart itself is O.K. I had a cypher stent in LAD about two yers ago. I have had no problems since then. My Blood Pressure is normal. ...Visitor from Israel

Answer:
Absolutely you could have implants.

We just finished a case the other day where we did extractions and implants and new teeth on the implants all in one appointment for a 90 year old woman.

Donít you deserve to eat and smile?

You do need to be evaluated prior to any treatment, x-rays (cat scan or i-cat), complete medical and dental history, and then a nice treatment plan that meets your needs.

With today's new technologies, age is rarely a factor anymore in preventing access to treatments that assure normal dental function and teeth that feel and look good.
