Question:
Two implants vs partial?: I had my farthest back bottom molar removed due to a cracked root, etc.

The tooth next to the molar removed is missing. Before the last molar had to be removed, I had a bridge which covered three teeth (the 3rd tooth capped).

Would you recommend getting two implants to replace the last two teeth or a partial denture? I am aware of the expense. ... Visitor from Leitchfield

Answer:
Removable prosthetics, including partial dentures, cause bone loss... whereas dental implants, once properly placed... stimulate and preserve bone... which can last a lifetime.
