I'm 24 years old and have a underbite but don't know what class of it.
All I know is that I'm starting to bite my inner cheeks and don't have enough money for surgery and my teeth are bad because I'm embarrassed.
Will braces help? ...Visitor from WA
Underbite issues caused by size differences between the upper and lower jaw are routinely treated with orthognathic surgery, by an oral surgeon.
Jawbone material is typically lengthened or shortened on one or both sides as needed. Afterwards, braces are commonly used to realign all of the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws.
