Adhesives and Relinings don't work - Use Implants? I am 30 years old and have had an upper denture for going on 3 years now and no matter how many times I have gone to the dentist they are still not comfortable. They do not stay fit to my mouth even after using the adhesives 2 or 3 times a day. I have had them relined but nothing seems to work. Should I consider implants or just simply try a new denture? ... Implants or Dentures with a Post? When getting full implants. After the teeth are removed what do you have until your mouth has healed to eat with and cosmetic reasons? I haven't read that you have some sort of teeth or denture until you are done healing. You don't have to go 6-9 months without teeth do you? High Narrow Arch: I'm 57 and have wore back upper and lower partials for years. My front upper teeth jet and I have been told I have a high narrow arch. One dentist suggested I see an orthodontist to see if perhaphs they could widen my arch. My question is would that be possible since I have no back teeth to support brackets? My concern is to keep what I have as long as possible and possibly get back implants. Lower partial vs. Implant: At present I am being treated on my problems. I will have only 2 teeth remaining in my lower left side, #19 and #22. My goal is to have implants at approx space #29-30 on lower right and then have a lower partial made to be supported by 2 teeth on lower left and one implant. Partials cause teeth to rot: I am 26 years old. A little over 3 years ago I had all but 6 teeth removed. I got a full upper denture and lower partial. The lower partial caused my lower teeth to begin to rot away. I would like to get the remaining teeth removed and full dental implants.
