Repairing Tooth Enamel

My tooth enamel is getting see through at the bottom of my teeth. I think this is due to me using whitening strips.

How can I replace this enamel? What treatments are available and can I still use the strips? ...Visitor from Wales

Unfortunately..... tooth enamel cannot be treated successfully once it becomes transparent.

STOP using whitening products. There are certain products, available ONLY through dentists and Periodontists, that can refortify the remineralization of your teeth.

If you sense that you have a continuing "teeth whitening need" it may be related to your food choices. Overconsumption of citrus products may have a role here.

Many patients with extreme transparency issues opt for porcelain veneer or porcelain crown replacements, which mimic the rehabilitation or replacement of dental enamel.
