FAQ:  Dental Trauma

My daughter's front tooth: My daughter is 11 years old. Recently shot got hit on one of her front teeth. It was bleeding a little bit after it was hit.

Now the tooth is a little bit loose. Someone told me it will be OK after few days and heal by itself?

Do I need to take her to dentist? ...Visitor from CA

Never listen to "advice" of friends, unless one of them happens to be a dentist.

Take her to the dentist or, better yet, a Periodontist, to make sure no irreversible damage has occurred to the jawbone or peridontal ligaments.
