Bone Fragments Ask The Dentist Corinne Scalzitti Question:
I am 33 years old and had all my teeth pulled out a month ago.

I also had a bone graft done because the dentist wouldn't pull them without the grafting procedure.

My problem is I still can't wear my teeth because I have all these bone chips coming out everywhere. Is it normal to have bone chips even if you have a bone graft? ...Visitor from TX

Answer:
I think that the bone chips are from the bone that was around your teeth, not the bone graft.

Go to your dentist, and he should be able to remove the fragments that are causing you trouble. If the dentist can't do this, you may want to see an oral surgeon.

This is a normal aftermath of full mouth extractions and should be pretty easy to deal with.
